Let us answer your questions
What upgrades does DJI Mini 3 Pro have compared to previous products?
Compared with DJI Mini 2 and Mavic Air 2, DJI Mini 3 Pro has improved battery life, intelligent functions, video transmission, and a fully upgraded imaging system and visual detection system.
To be specific, the DJI Mini 3 Pro, which inherits the 249g lightweight and compact body, comes with a 1/1.3-inch image sensor that supports native HDR. It supports three-way obstacle detection and the newly improved APAS 4.0 (Advanced Pilot Assistance Systems). It supports DJI O3 FHD digital video transmission, which ensures a stable live feed at distances of up to 12km. DJI Mini 3 Pro also supports intelligent functions such as FocusTrack, True Vertical Shooting, Timelapse, MasterShots, and High-Speed QuickTransfer.
What are the differences between DJI Mini 3 Pro (non RC), DJI Mini 3 Pro and DJI Mini 3 Pro (DJI RC)?
DJI Mini 3 Pro (non-RC) does not come with a remote controller. You can use the DJI RC-N1 that you already have. DJI Mini 3 Pro Includes DJI RC-N1. DJI Mini 3 Pro (DJI RC) includes the all-new DJI RC, which has a built-in 5.5-inch 1080p HD display that is specially made for outdoor scenarios, for a sharp view even in direct sunlight. It also comes with the pre-installed DJI Fly app for control over your aerial photography.
Why does DJI Mini 3 Pro have a brand new look?
DJI Mini 3 has a redesigned structure and shape, with the following advantages:
1. Longer flight time with the same compact size: The new shape and design allow the drone to carry larger propellers and improve the propulsion efficiency of the propellers and aircraft, resulting in a longer flight time.
2. Wider detection range in the environment: The new design allows the drone to carry sensors with a larger field of view, further increasing the detection range and distance. DJI Mini 3 Pro thus provides more powerful visual detection capabilities, improving the flexibility and safety of flight and obstacle avoidance.
3. True vertical shooting and extended axes: The new design allows users to take portrait photos without having to digitally crop them. Fewer gimbal limits mean more shooting angles and more creative freedom. During a sniDuring each flight, the aircraft angle also has fewer restrictions on the gimbal and the shooting angle.
What is the wind resistance of DJI Mini 3 Pro?
The maximum wind resistance of the DJI Mini 3 Pro is 10.7 m/s (level 5).
* Wind resistance depends on propulsion. In strong winds, due to the lightweight nature of the drone, a slight vibration is expected. Powerful propulsion ensures that the drone hovers stably or returns home safely. DJI Mini 3 Pro automatically controls the gimbal to adjust slightly to ensure that the footage is always stable and not affected by the wind.
Does DJI Mini 3 Pro support manual mode for taking photos and videos?
Yes. You can manually set camera parameters such as shutter speed, ISO and white balance in the DJI Fly app.
How is the DJI O3 Video Transmission upgraded compared to OcuSync 2.0?
The DJI O3 Video Transmission System uses a brand new solution, upgrading dual antennas to four antennas to enable FHD video transmission at distances of up to 12 km (FCC compliant and without obstacles). Additional anti-interference capabilities improve transmission stability in cities and other complex environments.
How is DJI Mini 3 Pro's High-Speed QuickTransfer Upgraded?
DJI Mini 3 Pro's High-Speed QuickTransfer supports fast transfer of photos and videos at speeds of up to 30 MB/s.
Mini 3 Pro also automatically chooses the fastest transmission solution based on your current wireless environment.
Which DJI Mini 2 accessories can be used with DJI Mini 3 Pro?
DJI Mini 3 Pro is compatible with DJI 18W USB Charger and DJI RC-N1 and its accessories (DJI RC-N1 RC Cable, DJI RC-N1 Remote Controller Monitor Hood, DJI RC-N1 Remote Controller Tablet Holder and DJI RC-N1 Control Sticks). Other DJI Mini 2 accessories are not compatible with DJI Mini 3 Pro.
Which app should I install before using DJI Mini 3 Pro?
DJI Mini 3 Pro can only be used with the DJI Fly app. You can download the DJI Fly app from the download page on the official DJI website. Check the compatibility on the website.
* If you use DJI RC as a remote controller, the DJI Fly app is pre-installed.
Do I need to register or get a license to fly this drone?
Drones under 250 grams do not require a pilot's license, but you must register the drone with the authorities (RDW in the Netherlands) because the drone has a camera.
